Art by Cari Clement & Lynda McIntyre

INSPIRED by NATURE and FRIENDSHIP - Fiber Art, Bead Embroidery, Watercolors and Acrylic Paintings

Friends for over 50 years, Cari Clement and Lynda Reeves McIntyre have continually interwoven their passions for travel and culture with their deep love of art, materials and making. A never-exhausted sense of curiosity and “let’s go” attitude have made them great travel companions --- whether this be to the Mexican Baja, the Atlantic Coastline, the arid deserts and high plains of New Mexico, the wilds shores of the Azores or the mountains of the Adirondacks.

Each location has provided inspiration and the response of each artist is unique yet related. Most recently they have consciously explored conversations between artworks inspired by their travels together. Some of these conversations--- through fiber, bead, paint and pigment--- are shared in this exhibition, INSPIRED by NATURE and FRIENDSHIP.

They invite you to dive deeply into each piece, look at relationships, create relationships. ENJOY and then pack up your own supplies (pen, camera, paints, fiber, voice) and go out into the world—near or far --- see, create, and - hey, maybe bring a friend.
