Elizabeth Heonis

Director of Development

Elizabeth Heonis began as Director of Development on March 1, 2024.  She brings 30 years of corporate operations and sales leadership.  She has also worked in a volunteer capacity for several non-profit organizations.  Elizabeth is the owner of LeapSoar Coaching LLC and is a certified executive and life coach. 

Elizabeth notes, “I am honored to be a part of Tannery Pond Center.  I truly believe that art in any form encourages us to think, grow, and imagine beyond our own experience and Tannery Pond provides the opportunity to enjoy, create,  and share art in a community setting.  I look forward to supporting the continued growth and development of Tannery Pond.

Elizabeth has a master’s degree from Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations and a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY.  She enjoys competitive ballroom dancing, WWII history, vintage clothing, and international travel.  Elizabeth and her husband Peter live on Friends Lake and together with their golden retriever Buster enjoy living in the Adirondacks.
