Tannery Pond Center presents Seagle’s The Musical World of Disney

Tickets: $15 in advance, $20 Day of Concert, FREE for Youth 18 and younger but reservations are required.

Online sales end 11:59 pm the night before an event.  Available "Day of Event" which will be sold on a first come first serve basis. We will also begin a wait list of names at the event window for tickets not picked-up. Tickets not picked up by 7:30 PM will be issued to wait list customers.

Cast & Crew

  • Nicolas Fahrenkrug, baritone, has been sought after throughout the Northeast region for his powerful sound and expressive story-telling. A versatile performer, Nicholas thrives on singing diverse repertoire in opera, in addition to chamber, and new music. This season he has appeared with the Boston Lyric Opera, the Boston Holiday Pops, Boston Opera Collaborative, the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra, and Nightingale Vocal Ensemble. Notable roles include Hawkins Fuller (Fellow Travelers), Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), Giulio Cesare (Giulio Cesare), Conte Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Harlekin (Ariadne auf Naxos), Raimbaud (Le comte Ory), and John Buchanan (Summer and Smoke).   • Collin LaHood, tenor, is in his third year of study pursuing his Master of Music degree at Rice University in the studio of Professor Nova Thomas. During his undergraduate studies at Mercer University, he was a winner in competitions including the National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition, where he won first place in the Georgia State Competition for his division. Collin has performed with The Savannah Philharmonic as the tenor soloist in Messiah. His most recent performances were with Rice University as Lensky in Eugene Onegin and Seagle Festival as Veasey in Cold Mountain.

  • Richard Kagey, stage director, began his career at Seagle Festival as a 16-year-old singer in 1963. Since then he has continued to act, direct, design and teach for colleges, universities, the Broadway Theatre, professional opera companies and regional and community theatres across the US. He has designed and directed more than 300 productions including standard repertoire, children’s operas, and world premieres. He considers himself to be lucky to have spent his career discovering new works or new approaches to old works and then sharing them with an audience - “there is nothing better.”

  • Tony Kostecki, music director/piano, was appointed General Director of Seagle Festival in January of 2008. Before moving into management, he was on the faculty of Seagle Festival as a vocal coach/pianist and conductor for ten years. Between 2002 and 2007, Tony was Director of Education at Fort Worth Opera and also Director of the Fort Worth Opera Studio. As a vocal coach/pianist, Tony worked for Fort Worth Opera, Shreveport Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Utah Opera, Kansas City Lyric Opera Express, and Kansas City Civic Opera.

  • Emily O’Connor, soprano, is a soprano from Slate Hill NY. She received a Bachelor's degree from Ithaca College and a Master’s in Opera Performance from Boston Conservatory. At Boston Conservatory, she played roles such as Mrs. Wordsworth in Albert Herring, Mrs. Gleason in Susannah, and Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro. Miss O’Connor was also a Young Artist at the Brevard Janeic Opera Company as Frasquita in Carmen and Cinderella in Into the Woods. Recently she was an Emerging Artist at Seagle Festival as Fiona in Brigadoon, covering Zerlina in Don Giovanni, and the ensemble of Sweeney Todd.

  • Hannah Reich, mezzo-soprano, is a mezzo-soprano originally from Atlanta, GA now based in Rochester, NY. She returned to Seagle Festival this year to perform the roles of Ruby in Cold Mountain and the Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd. Last summer, she sang the roles of the Ugly Duckling in the children’s opera, The Ugly Duckling and Mrs. Segstrom in A Little Night Music. Hannah is a recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music with a Master of Music in Voice Performance and Literature with a Certificate in Arts Leadership where she sang the roles of Soeur Mathilde in Dialogues des Carmelites, the Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas, and cover for Der Komponist in Ariadne auf Naxos. Previous roles include Dido in Dido and Aeneas, Hansel in Hansel und Gretel, Miss Todd in The Old Maid and the Thief, Rosine in Signor Deluso, Mrs. McLean in Susannah, and Maria in The Sound of Music.
